My photography approach

Your Wedding, As It Actually Felt

Your wedding day isn’t a styled shoot—it’s a real, once-in-a-lifetime day filled with movement, emotion, and moments you won’t even see happening.

My approach to photography is candid-first and story-driven. I do guide you when it counts and wrangle your friends & family for portraits, but ultimately, I step back so the real moments can unfold naturally.

The quiet ones. The chaotic ones. The ones you didn’t plan for. Because those are the images that last and will mean something to you for years to come.

She was so friendly and knowledgeable, she put us instantly at ease. Our photos turned out better than we expected, and we don’t look unnatural and posed like we usually do when we have had professional photos done. She found a stunning location for our photos, made sure we were happy with how we looked, and had so many unique poses and actions for us. Will definitely be recommending her to our friends and family!

We had the most amazing experience doing family photos with Ashley! She was kind and patient with my toddlers. She brought such great ideas! The pictures are absolutely a dream! We are still so impressed with the gallery and experience.

Ashley is amazing! She was a relaxed and cheerful presence on my wedding day, and the photos are beautiful. Even my husband (who doesn't love being photographed) said he had fun taking photos with her.

She captured a mix of posed group photos and candid moments. I'm so thrilled with the photos! I would absolutely recommend working with Ashley: she's warm, friendly, and a fantastic photographer.

We work with the weather, and we do our best. It's part of the charm of your wedding day. However, in the event of abysmal weather, we can reschedule couples' portraits to a better day/season.

This is a complimentary service, within reason, as I want to ensure you love your portraits.

How are photographs delivered? And how many will we get?

All usable images from your day are professionally edited in both colour and black-and-white.

We guarantee a minimum number of images (approximately 75-100 per hour)—and have always over-delivered. Most wedding galleries delivered are approximately 800-1500 colour images, then doubled to black-and-white.

All images are uploaded in high resolution for printing purposes and are available for six months after delivery in an easy-to-download gallery.

The platform allows unlimited downloads for anyone with the web link and pin, so that everyone can see, download and print the images.
